Hotel Front Desk Supervisor

TITLE: Lower Sioux Lodge Front Desk Supervisor (2nd Shift)

DEPARTMENT: Lower Sioux Lodge Operations / Sales and Marketing

REPORTS TO: Lower Sioux Lodge Operations Manager

SUPERVISES: Front Desk Clerks, PBX Operators and Auditors


Previous hotel experience is required. One year previous front desk experience is essential with knowledge of golf.


1. Manages front desk staff during scheduled time.

2. Assists with recruiting, selecting and orientating front desk employees.

3. Teaches operational skills and provide expert assistance and advice to other guest service representatives.

4. Reports discipline problems to Lower Sioux Lodge Manager as necessary.

5. Properly administers company policies and procedures including procedures relating to Internal Audit.

6. Administers work schedules and assignments.

7. Performs Front Desk duties and auditor duties when necessary.

8. Liasion between Jackpot Junction and LanMark to keep computer up and running efficiently.

9. Reference check Lodgenet and Lanmark to assure the billing is accurate.

10. Respond to problems or complaints from customers.

11. Maximizes occupancy level.

12. Assures PM shift is completed.

13. Enforces Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel policies and procedures.

14. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

15. Regular attendance necessary.

16. Regular punctuality necessary.

17. Available and willing to work any changes in hours on the schedule at anytime during employment.


Present oneself as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do so also.
