- Luton have lost six of their seven clashes with top 10 sides so far
- The visitors have won 10 of 19 league games this season
- Cherries have kept a clean sheet in four straight games (W3 D1)
Cherries to continue title charge
Having impressed at home this term, Luton look like a real test for Bournemouth. However, we aren’t convinced that the Hatters will hold their own here.
For starters, the hosts lost 1-0 at Middlesbrough in midweek, despite having a man-advantage for a large chunk of the game. That was just the latest defeat for Nathan Jones and his men against strong opposition.
The Hatters have lost seven times so far this season, with six of those coming in their seven clashes with sides from the top 10. Meanwhile, Bournemouth have won 10 of their first 19 games back at this level, putting them just three points shy of top spot.
The Cherries have won three of their last four games, while they’ve not conceded in any of those four. Given that solid record and Luton’s troubles against quality opposition, we’re backing an away win and a 1-0 victory for the Cherries.
