A monster NBA game is headed your way tonight. Not many regular season games come around too often like this.
The Los Angeles Clippers will be hitting the road to take on the Brooklyn Nets in a heated east/west matchup.
The Clippers are boasting the best record in the NBA and have the validity of being a true title contender this season after last year’s meltdown.
Brooklyn has the James Harden experiment going for them, but so far it has been hit and miss quite literally.
They boast the best offensive rating in the NBA since the trade but simultaneously hold the worst defensive rating.
This makes each of their games must watch television, so let’s break this one down for you and help determine where to put your money.
Los Angeles Clippers Betting Preview: Revenge Year
After their display in the bubble, the Clippers became one of the laughing stocks of the whole league.
Minus a couple of games missed due to health and safety protocols, the Clippers with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard have been on a mission to cement themselves among the elite.
These two players have developed an on court chemistry and are one of the league’s best dynamic duos.
Their supporting cast has continually improved, and new players like Serge Ibaka, Luke Kennard and Nic Batum have proven to be useful.
Defensively, they might be one of the only teams that can matchup with Brooklyn’s stars pound-for-pound.
Despite how good their trio is, I expect the Clippers’ to have great success in guarding Durant, Irving and Harden.
Brooklyn Nets Betting Preview: In Search of Themselves
We knew when the Nets traded for Harden that they weren’t going to be able to figure their situation overnight.
Troubles showed themselves in horrendous fashion in their most recent loss to the Wizards when they allowed a whopping 48 points in the fourth quarter.
It was an abysmal showing, and there need to be changes defensively to improve.
When matching up with the Clippers, it’s clear that their focus on defense will be set on Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, but they will have to watch out for their role players.
Serge Ibaka has made the Clippers front court significantly better, and his ability to provide a spark in 25 minutes of play can’t be ignored.
Durant is going to have to be counted on to make a lot of noise in this game. Without him leading the way, the Nets won’t go far.
Clippers @ Nets Betting Odds and Lines
Coming into this game, MyBookie has the Brooklyn Nets as the home favorites by 1.5 points.
While the Nets are still working to figure out their new big three, they draw the favorite for this matchup.

I think this is going to be a tightly contested ball game from start to finish with no team even pulling a double-digit lead.
Coming down to the wire in the fourth quarter, I like Kyrie Irving to close this one out and the Nets to win at home.
