The $100,000 Audubon Presented by Twinspires.com is set for June 20 as Race 6 on the card at Churchill Downs.
The 1 1/8-mile turf test for three-year-olds will have a field of eight that includes names like Field Pass.
Here is a look at the top runners in the field for the Audubon.
Three Diamond Farm’s Field Pass, who won the Jeff Ruby Stakes (G3), will lead the field of eight in the inaugural running of the race.
The Lemon Drop Kid colt should do well with the 1 1/8-mile distance.
Trained by Mile Maker, he took third as the beaten favorite in last month’s $100,000 War Chant Stakes going a mile.
The Maryland-bred finished 10 lengths off the early pace in the one-mile War Chant and came up late to finish 2 1/4-lengths behind winner Smooth Like Strait. The runner-up in that race, Pixelate, will be part of the Audubon field as well.
Field Pass will break from post 6 under Tyler Gaffalione at 2/1.
Pixelate, Summer to Remember
Some of the other top runners in the race are Pixelate and Summer to Remember.
Pixelate is a 3-year-old son of City Zip with a record of 2-4-2 from eight career starts and earnings of $156,600.
Trained by Michael Stidman and owned by Godolphin, LLC, the colt’s last performance was a second-place finish in the May 23 War Chant Stakes at Churchill.
Prior to that, he took second in the Feb. 29 Black Gold Stakes at Fair Grounds and third in the Jan. 26 Texas Turf Mile Stakes at Sam Houston.
Pixelate will break from post 4 under Michael Stidham at 7/2.
Summer to Remember is owned by Waterford Stable and trained by Hall of Famer Todd Pletcher.
The 3-year-old son of Summer Front has a career record of 2-1-2 from six starts and earnings of $89,800.
Last time out, he finished third in the May 2 English Channel Stakes at Gulfstream. Prior to that, he took fourth in the March 28 Cutler Bay Stakes and first in a Feb. 9 Allowance Optional Claiming at Gulfstream.
Summer to Remember will break from the outside post 8 under Florent Geroux at 7/2.
The rest of the field (post, morning line) will include Bama Breeze (post 1, 8/1); Spanish Kingdom (post 2, 10/1); Natural Power (post 3, 8/1); Fenwick Station (post 5, 15/1); and Kinenos (post 7, 8/1).
