- Torino have failed to win any of their eight home matches in Serie A this season.
- Spezia have picked up more points on the road this season than at home.
- The visitors will head into this match on the back of two successive victories.
More home misery for Torino
Torino are the only team in Serie A yet to register a home victory this season, picking up just four points from their eight league matches on their own patch.
Il Toro’s last home victory came back in July, although they do usually get on the scoresheet at least, as they have netted in 15 of their last 16 league games on home soil, a run that stretches back nearly a calendar year.
Spezia will head into Saturday’s match on the back of successive victories against Napoli and Sampdoria and 11 of their 17 points so far this season have been picked up on the road.
Indeed, Vincenzo Italiano’s side have only lost three of their eight away games since earning promotion to Serie A and two of those losses came against title challengers AC and Inter Milan.
We can certainly see Spezia picking up another success on their travels on Saturday, so we are predicting an away win, with our prediction of a 2-1 scoreline factoring in Torino’s ability to find the back of the net.
